Can batteries be used in all temperature conditions?

Answer:

When batteries become extremely cold, they work less well in general. Various batteries types consist of so-called electrons, which move more slowly when it becomes colder. Eventually, this will result in power failure as the electrons can’t move within the battery. In extreme warm/hot circumstances, the self-discharge increases. It has to be taken into account that one battery type is more resistant to extreme weather conditions compared to others.
